Hey, Reader. Today, Peter Shankman announced that he's launching a new platform and going "back to basics." In his words, "After I posted last week about the death of HARO at the hands of Cision, I received well over 2,000 replies asking me if I'd consider building a new version. Not connected to the old one, but rather, one that went back to basics." And he did. Quickly. He has launched HERO - Help Every Reporter Out. It's important to note that HARO (technically) has moved to a new platform called Connectively. Peter doesn't appear to be a fan, and if you were a HARO member before, you now have to "re-join" via Connectively. We haven't joined either platform yet, but we've always been fans of Peter - he was our opening keynote speaker at BlogPaws 2015 in Nashville. So, we're supporting his new venture, which he promises to keep free. What do you think? Will you join HERO? Were you or will you be joining HARO via Connectively? Always curious, The BlogPaws Team |

Hi Reader. Our hearts have been heavy as the wildfires in California tear through communities. It's hard to even grasp the idea that 10 lives, 10,000 structures, and we're sure hundreds of pet's lives have been lost. We remember how helpless we felt as we watched fires overtake Jessica's and Chloe's local communities in Colorado back on December 30, 2021. Seeing the magnitude of loss in California feels almost too overwhelming to process. We have gathered information to share with our...
Hey Reader. Seems like we are not the only ones leaking secrets. The two big differences between us sharing our secrets and Google's "secrets" coming to light: We did it on purpose. Google did not. We did it to share our behind-the-scenes with you. Google is now backpedaling because their unplanned leak exposed some of their behind-the-scenes. Most SEOs: Domain Authority of your site matters.Old Google: There is no such thing as Domain Authority.Google's leaked docs: That's because we call it...
